1. Introduction

FTS is committed to protecting the privacy and confidentiality of personal data collected or processed during its business operations. This Data Privacy Policy outlines the principles and practices that govern the collection, use, and disclosure of personal data by the Company.

4. Use Of Personal Information

The Company will only use personal data for the purposes for which it was collected or as otherwise permitted by applicable laws and regulations. Personal data may be used for, but not limited to, the following purposes:

  • Complying with legal or regulatory requirements.

5. Accessible Transport App – Use Of Personal Data

The accessible transport app collects the following personal data for the reasons set out:

  • Location details – to show parent and carers where clients and vehicles are on their trip.
  • Location details – to provide costs of the journey based on the miles completed per trip and optimise trip routes. All data is transferred to the back office to enable budget management and route planning.
  • Contact details including email and phone number – this enables clients, parents, and carers to make complains in the app and a response is then sent via the back office.
  • Contact details including email and phone number – for drivers and passenger assistants, this data is collected when they raise an incident so that it can be resolved in the back-office system.

To enable collection of this data, FTS collects the client, parent, carer, driver, and passenger assistant’s background location based on their login permissions.
